Applicants can reside in both our in-district and out-of-district Massachusetts communities, and out-of-state students are also eligible to apply to Minuteman Technical Institute's (MTI) Post-Secondary Programs. Applicants must have graduated from high school, or earned a GED/HiSet attainment, AND must be 18 years of age at the time of acceptance. Transcripts and birth certificates must be provided. Certified translations must be provided for transcripts supplied in a language other than English and equivalency to US education must be provided. An average of C or better in high school is preferred, with consideration for trends demonstrating improvement and motivation. For applicants who have not yet graduated from high school, a letter from the current high school is required, stating that the student is on track to graduate.
Applicants must supply a recommendation letter from an employer, supervisor, colleague, or teacher. These letters can be requested via email from the application Self-Service Center, and letters of recommendation can be uploaded via that portal
