Applicants for either the 10-month or 15-week programs can reside anywhere, but their town or state of residency may impact their tuition rates, as outlined below:
In-State, In-District for 10-Month Programs: Applicants who reside in the nine towns that are members of the Minuteman regional school district (Acton, Arlington, Bolton, Concord, Dover, Lancaster, Lexington, Needham, and Stow) can pay in-district tuition rates for the 10-month tuition programs. Minuteman is a public school district that receives local taxpayer funds from these nine towns. (More: In-District vs. In-State.)
In-State, Out-of-District for 10-Month Programs: Applicants who reside in Massachusetts but outside of the Minuteman district towns pay out-of-district tuition rates for the 10-month tuition programs.. (More: In-District vs. In-State.)
15-Week Programs: Applicants for 15-week programs do not pay tuition if they qualify as unemployed or under-employed, as explained here. Applicants can only obtain free tuition if they are residents of Massachusetts. The 15-week programs are funded through grants from the Massachusetts Workforce Skills Cabinet. Tuition rates are listed on the program registration pages.
