About the Program
The Automotive Technology program is designed to prepare students for a challenging and rewarding career in the ever-changing automotive industry.
Our instructors are ASE certified and have the know-how to provide a solid foundation for a lifetime of learning.
This program is designed in modules for students to study the general areas of ASE (Automotive Service Excellence). Each module consists of related theory in a classroom setting and hands-on, practical application using live vehicles or “mock-ups” to support completion of the NATEF (National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation) task requirements for each module.
At the end of the program, students will have the opportunity to receive industry recognized ASE Certifications for each NATEF module taught. Students are also eligible to earn the OSHA 10-hour certification (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) and Hot Work certification.

Career Prospects
The number of vehicles in use continues to rise, and more entry-level service technicians will be needed to perform basic maintenance and repair, such as replacing brake pads and changing oil. New technologies, however, such as electric vehicles, may limit future demand for automotive service technicians and mechanics because they will be more reliable and thus require less maintenance and repair.

Schedule

- 900 Hour Evening Program
- Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM
- Days and times subject to adjustment.
In addition to classroom time, students are required to participate in online course work.
